What is the USST Vault?+
The USST Vault is a time-weighted yield vault for STBL's USST stablecoin. It offers a 17.50% APY with rewards distributed in USDY tokens. Your rewards accrue based on how long you keep your USST deposited - the longer you stake, the more you earn.
How does time-weighted yield work?+
Unlike snapshot-based systems, our vault tracks your deposit duration continuously. If you deposit 100k USST for 30 days, you'll earn proportionally more than someone who deposits the same amount for 2 days. This prevents gaming and rewards long-term depositors.
Why is there a deposit cap?+
We implement a deposit cap to manage risk and ensure optimal capital allocation across our yield strategies. The current cap is 7,500 USST. This conservative approach allows us to maintain the 17.50% APY while ensuring all depositors can earn consistently.
Why do I need to submit a withdraw request?+
Your funds are actively deployed in yield-generating strategies. Withdraw requests allow us to efficiently reallocate capital while maintaining vault performance. USST withdrawals are processed within 3 days due to high liquidity.
What happens to my rewards during a pending withdraw request?+
Your rewards are paused when you submit a withdraw request because your position is being unwound from the yield strategies. You can cancel the request at any time to resume earning rewards immediately.
